Ketchup



Students on writing erotic romance have been a blast this past week. I suspect we'll be seeing some of them in print before too long. Hope so!


Fall weather has been nutty. Lots of rain.


We've had a visitor - friend who is transferring jobs and moving here within the next couple of weeks.


We bougnt new furniture. No, no more money than usual. Just tired of the old stuff, so the women ganged up on the poor ole guy and pleaded, threatened, cajoled, and made him miserable until he caved in. The new sofas arrive Monday.


In Australia, it's called tomato sauce. For some reason, I snagged an interest in recipes for the stuff.

Janet Is So Warped


Here's the latest she's sent me...


Itchy Old Lady
One day an old lady went to the doctors because she had an itch in her crotch. She told the doctor her problem and he said, 'You have the crabs.' She informed the doctor that it could not be the crabs because she was an eighty year old virgin. She went to another doctor and explained her problem to him. The doctor said, 'You probably have the crabs.'


'No' she said, 'I am an eighty year old virgin.'



Frustrated, she went to a third doctor. She said, 'Doctor can you help me??? I have an itch in my crotch. Don't tell me that it is the crabs because I am an eighty year old virgin. It can not be the crabs.'


The doctor said, 'Get on the table and let's have a look.' After examining, the doctor proclaimed,'Ma'am, you're right, you do not have the crabs. This cherry is sooooo old, you have fruit flies.'

Those were hilarious!!! Although, I have to make a correction - you cannot get a free BBQ grill at Target or Albertson's here. All their baskets are red and blue plastic, respectively.

So what's going on?

With me...am teaching this month, 31 days of how to write erotic romance. I have some delightful students in this class, and our project for early this week is taking a recipe and eroticizing it. They're all going to hate me before it's over, I'm sure.


On the publishing front, Knights & White Satin is doing WELL, so I wanted to thank everyone who purchased this one. I'm blown away - it's been a fun ride. My thanks to Teresa at Fallen Angel Reviews for her kind words: Ms. Cole has created an incredible story with characters who take on a life of their own, to the delight of the reader. Ring of Seduction, the novella Alex and I did for Ellora's Cave is doing well, too. We're getting good reviews, anyway - haven't received the check for that one yet, so we shall see.



I'm not a huge joiner, but my friend Gretchen lured me to a meeting with MARA, and I fell for them the first visit, so I'm now a member of their organization. They've made me feel extremely welcome, and they're a fun group. I even have my own page as one of their authors already. Talk about working quickly – I only joined a week ago! Jerri Corgiat was the featured speaker, and she’s awesome.

To my Chad & Jeremy buddy, Kit Kat, I WROTE YOU AN EMAIL AGES AGO - lol. ANSWER YOUR MAIL!!!!!
